Grant Writing & Fundraising

We understand how hard it is to fundraise for a nonprofit.
Lack of organizational capacity to deal with grant applications is one of the first challenges that nonprofit organizations run into.

Our services focus on helping your organization find prospects and develop quality grant applications so you can focus on what is really important: your mission.

Our Services Include:

Fundraising Landscape Analysis

Our team specializes in prospecting and scoping viability for funding opportunities. By participating in our Landscape Analysis, we’ll work with you to prospect, research, and understand the best partners and opportunities to pursue meaningful fundraising campaigns and grants for your organization.

Ongoing Grant Support

Leave your grantwriting to us. Mockingbird Analytics will take charge of your grant application process and make sure your grant submission rate is consistent, well-tracked, reviewed for quality, and provide new prospects for ongoing growth. If you’re not ready for full-time staff dedicated to grantwriting we work with organizations of all sizes who need assistance with meeting their grant goals. Ongoing grant support includes:

  • Prospect research

  • Federal and Foundation Grant Applications

  • LOI writing

  • Project development

  • Budgeting

  • Coaching to develop relationships with funders

  • Review and editing applications for submission

  • Grant boilerplate language

Do you already have a grant in mind?

We can help you through the application process with just one grant or as many as you need. Schedule a consultation to learn more about how we can help you with your next application.

Prospecting

Sometimes you just need to know what funding sources are out there. We understand your organization’s needs and we can design prospect lists of grants that match your organization’s mission, programs, growth goals, and stage.  Email us at info@mockingbirdanalytics.com to get started.

Grant Reporting

If you have a grant report due we can help you draft your report and prepare it for submission to your funders. We have a track record of our grant reports leading to renewal funding. If you need to develop metrics or data systems for reporting please see our outcomes and impact evaluation services. Contact us to learn more about how we can help.

A Note on our Methods

Our grant writing process includes an initial assessment of your organization’s readiness to submit a grant application. Not every organization is immediately prepared for how detailed and extensive the grant application process is. However, we can help you get ready through our planning and development services so that you have the best chance at getting funded. We are based in Los Angeles, California, but we work with organizations all over the United States prospecting, submitting grants and reviewing applications.
